Whenever the NBA Draft Lottery goes down the number one pick is usually already a foregone conclusion no matter which team ultimately gets the their pick of the best available talent from the college game or overseas.

This upcoming NBA Draft is no different as the unanimous pick to go number one is Oklahoma's superstar power forward Blake Griffin and the team with the number one pick is the infamously underachieving Los Angeles Clippers who just went through a sort of rebuilding process last season with the addition of NBA stars like Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Zach Randoplh and up and coming new comer Eric Gordon.

Despite having an extremely talented starting five the Clippers did what they do best and fell flat on their face. With a stacked frontcourt including about four bigmen that could start for any team in the league, Blake Griffin would still be the obvious choice for a Clippers team that wants to get younger.

Ricky Rubio, the Spanish point guard phenom, is an outside choice for Clippers, but Griffin will almost certainly be headed to LA. Hopefully, for the sake the struggling Los Angeles franchise, the Clippers get it right this time.
