Like I didn't see this coming! Well, didn't know it would be to the Memphis Grizzles or that it would be old Los Angeles Clippers fan favorite Quentin Richardson, but you had to think with the frontcourt as crowded as it was with the addition of NBA Draft number one pick Blake Griffin that a move had to be made eventually.

I didn't think the Clippers would trade Randolph as he is arguably the most talented big man on their squad, but once I thought about it, seems like the logical decision as he seems to be nothing but trouble no matter where he ends up.

Although the Clippers will almost certainly miss certain parts of Randolph's game, the addition of Richardson back in LA has a few benifits. One, he is a fan favorite and everyone loved him in LA before he left. Two, he brings another outside shooting threat which will come in handy with the frontcourt demanding double teams.

All and all, the Clippers have made two great deals in a row which could be a sign of things to come, but then again, if any team can drop the ball it is the Clipps.
